What is direct light and diffuse light?
We know that the earth has the
environment which has the many layers and it content the many things in it e.g.
Cloud, dust particles…etc. So when the sunlight comes to earths some rays are
reflected, scattered or absorbs. And some comes direct.
This sunlight is used for
production of electric energy. Here some radiations are direct and some are
diffuse.
We can say the light is
diffuse when it did not comes direct to earth. Also it take longer path then
the direct.
Direct light consists of the
radiation that arrives from the sun without reflecting from dust, cloud, ground
and any other objects. Diffuse light cannot be used for the optics type PV
system.
